IDC is aware that Ushers
and Greeters are usually the first official representative of the church that
people meet when they
arrive. Our ushers dress, attitude, words, demeanour, body
language all speak a message to the worshipper and so at IDC we do this with
excellence and class. As
God's servants to his people, our usher and greeters ensures nothing interferes with the awesome
character of the divine encounter between God and his people during our
worship services.
There are some who may be weary of coming to a church and it would take very little to make this visit their last. If they feel genuinely welcomed and helped by the usher/greeter, then the usher/greeter has assisted in bringing the Gospel to these people.
